Learning portfolios foster deep learning in numerous ways, including: 

  • The CONTENT TEMPLATES (pre-built pages with prompts), created by faculty, provide language that guides thinking and learning. Rubrics align with the prompts to enable learning to be assessed based on the content of the portfolios. 

  • ePortfolios support the learning of our students by making their THINKING VISIBLE.

  • At the heart of the process of composing an ePortfolio is REFLECTION on learning experiences.

  • COMMUNITIES provide opportunities for students to learn with and from others as well as an accessible site for portfolio storage.
